Defining a character and atmosphere of learning is partly dependent on the environment and flow of areas surrounding formal learning areas. As part of a multidisciplinary design team involved in the second stage of the Xavier College redevelopment, we captured the essence of rejuvenation between classes with the design of a tiered amphitheatre. Also suited to formal school events, the flexibility afforded by the seating spaces complemented the warm aesthetic of raised garden beds for the enjoyment of all.

Our ability to handle the design, documentation and contract administration of landscape works was attractive to the wider design/project team. Simply put, the reduction in complexity and administrative moving parts allowed for a workflow that streamlined processes and simply worked for all parties involved.
