The entry point to any estate sets the scene and the tone for everything else that is seen, experienced and featured within its boundaries. Outerspace was entrusted with shaping and creating the first and lasting impressions of this multi-award-winning estate. Design, documentation, contract administration, streetscaping and the implementation of the central reserve rounded out Outerscape’s lauded contributions to the development.
The transformation from agricultural lands to sought after estate was a highly successful one. One of the catalysts to its warm reception and positive reviews was the integration of natural and complementary elements. Instead of dramatic changes using mismatched, conceptual eye-catchers, the team at Outerspace conceived of an environment that was completely at home in the chosen environment. Local South Australian materials such as Basket Range quarry stone, Penrice quarry sands and recycled timbers were used throughout the site, while planting was predominantly local native species.
Involved in ongoing stages of the estate development, Outerspace’s ethos of enhancing community living within the natural environment has proven to be a winning formula.
